Uncooperative pin

After spending one hour trying to remove the pin that holds the clutch pedal to the clutch master cylinder, I gave up for today. I removed the small key, tapped on the pin, and did not moved, I grabbed it with a pair of pliers, twisted and turned it and still the pin would not come out. I sprayed with penetrating fluid, and nothing happened. Does this pin have another hidden key?

It's just a pin and a clip. The pin should pull right out once the clip is removed. did you remove the clutch pedal return spring and try wiggling the clutch pedal to get the holes in the fork to line up with the hold in the clutch pedal? If one is pushing against the other it might be holding the pin in by friction.

Had the same problem on my buddy's 40. Try pulling the clutch pedal forward (towards the seat) then push a little back to loosen it up.

Removed the spring, now the picture show a bushing of some sort... I'll try the pull pedal and wiggle.

That bushing is for the pedal pivot, not the master cylinder.

Fixed! Since the pin was frozen to the bushing, I figure that pin and bushing have been "married" for almost 25 years, I went and unscrewed the clutch cylinder shaft from the square piece that connects to the pedal, and screwed the new cylinder in place. I replaced the slave also, and now the clutch feels like new!!
