I'm really beginning to hate all machine shops around here. Nobody has a sense of urgency. I don't understand how they stay in business.
My boss's best friend is trying to start one up. Can get info for you if need be. He would definitely be quicker than most at getting to it. They dirttrack race.
Marshall, if you need one-off's or prototypes, I know a guy across the street from ACC that has his own CNC mill. He is doing small production work too for a camera gizmo that he got started on kickstarter.com. Don't know what his rates are, but he can do anything with it. It's not a very big machine, so I'm sure there is a size limit.

Yep things are starting to pick up around here. We have elections coming up but after that this club should be jump started again. Pics of cruiser please!

Check the Calendar thread. We have a couple of events coming up the next few months.
Head up to URE for Logan's Run in mid-Sept. It's hosted by our buddy club Old North State Cruisers but we participate.
You will meet some ONSC guys which will be good out of S'burg plus get to wheel URE with LC guys. Some of our guys will be there. This was a joint effort with ONSC but since has become a memorial to a fallen wheeler Logan Monk.
If you don't know about URE it's Uwharrie National Forest about and hour east from Charlotte. It has an off-road vehicle system which is about the best public thing going east of TN now that Tellico is over.
