Guys, we are gonna go ahead with the annual event at our regular location (Aunt Sue's) off Hwy. 11. We couldn't come to a consensus of a different place to hold it, and this is kind of a fall back. If you haven't planned on it already you should plan on attending. We should have a good time, the folks at Aunt Sue's are awful nice to us year to year, and we got some pretty cool swag to give away. Most of it is tools, and stuff we collect over the course of the year (stickers, t-shirts etc...). This year we have kind of a grand raffle prize, a new in box Warn M8000 winch, so if you like stuff and wanna hang with some cruiser heads... Be there early and plan to stay as late as you'd like.

Awesome. I'm there. What is the schedule for the day?

Anyone camping that night?

Maybe we can get Alan to let us camp on his land out on Caesars Head. That was fun the time we did it.

If you can get this lined up, I'll drive down after work. I can be there around 5pm.

As I remember, pinstriping was pretty bad getting back there. Wasn't that the christening run for Marshall's new-to-him burgundy 80? We all thought, "CC is going to kill him."

Chuck made Rotel dip that night, but it took forever because he forgot to brown the sausage first. So he had to heat the cheese and Rotel and sausage for like an hour to make sure the sausage got cooked through.

Good times.

Ahh yes the 07 annual. Good times. I never did eat that rotel. Chuck has been permanently banned from making it ever again. And yes you will get lots of pin striping.

Before this trip it didn't have a scratch on it.

And that was a good annual. We gave away a bunch of stuff. That year I really worked hard to get sponsors.

Kat got a new set of tires. It was the only time I've been present when tires were won by someone else than David and Scott.

I was thinking of having it after the annual. Sat night.

Perfect! The last time we went there (maybe the only time) was my first annual. I parked the 100 and rode with Ghen.

By the way who has the presidents trophy? Are the plaques up to date?

I have it and yes. There's a problem though. I can't bring it this weekend. I'm already packed up with too much of my sister's stuff and I'm leaving straight from work for dinner with family in Williamston tonight. I'm packing in a lot of stuff in about 30 hours. I'll figure out a way to get it to someone before the annual.

edit: I'm going to the mountains with a buddy Labor day weekend. He lives in Easley and works in Greenville. I'll have him shuttle it to someone.

And the raffle gets better! :D

A Southeast Overland Amsteel Blue synthetic winch line, in orange, 5/16" x 100', will be raffled off. This length is perfect for the Warn M8000, Warn 9.5 xp, Tabor 9k, Warn XD9000, a bunch of Ramsey's, some Superwinches and others too. It's one of the most common lengths of synthetic line. Also comes with a 10' heat wrap for the drum end and a 10' custom printed 'Southeast Overland' abrasion guard for the thimble end.

We gonna have some stuff from Ho Chi Minh freight, and Northern Tool as well... We gonna have alot of stuff to give away, just hope there are enough folks to hand it all out to. Anyone know where all the extras as far as t-shirts and other left over swag is? We gonna have a good time!!!

I still have 8 Metal Tech pint glasses that came from GSMTR 2010 and several koozies from SE Toyota that have the clip on them. I'll include them with the trophy I send home with my buddy in Easley.

I think i sent everything i had with Marshall to GSMTR. I'll go back and check though.

The only meeting I can usually make... I'll be there. I may stay the whole day/night.

any ideas on how i can convince the wife that this would be a great way for her to spend her birthday?
