Trust me, I told him to knock that off and use the dash bar :)

Those were two different trips, I was by my lonesome when I dumped it. I don't drive crazy like that with someone else in the truck.

Cool, I think that's a good clean simple build you've done. Leaf springs are just hard to beat, nothing ever goes wrong. They don't get complicated, no moving parts, and can still flex. Looks like you've got some balls, I have to say. Those are some serious obstacles you got your self on. Film, photos never do it justice, it just never looks as big as it does in person. So if it looks big in the pics, you know its HUGE for real.

Wanted to say thanks for introducing me to those Timbrens bumpstops. I think I may try them, they may work well for me. Just about the cleanest way to do it. I haven't really priced them out yet, I know that more space on my axle would be nice. It will be super crowded after straps, anti-rock bars, and air bumps are all mounted. How much of a pain is it to mount the bastards? Can you pull the lower part off and slide them on, or do you have to tear the shocks all the way down? I know mine are coilovers, but should be about the same emulsion shock. But whatever, I'll get it figured out, thanks.

I wouldn’t say that ;) If you look close at the picture you can see that the main leaf got bent during the roll. No big deal, still drove the top of the trail and back out. I went thru a lot of trouble to make my wrap bar as ideal as possible. Thanks for the props, we have fun trails and my simple truck works pretty well on them :)

You got me there, I have seen a spring bend. I guess it happened to you when you rolled and the unsprung weight forced your springs into a negative arch. Big tires and some extra forces from impacting upside down.
That would be my guess, lots could have happened though, you would know better than me.

that spring have a military wrap on the spring hanger side?

that's why it bent..

Damn jeep parts..

maybe, came down on it pretty hard. Those springs have been on my truck a long time, i'm not upset

Fixed it for you! I'll never understand why he didn't just say "no" to the Jeep parts thing.....

All joking aside - that's a great shot of the belly pan. Nice and flat!

I like how it looks with the cab cage - nice mods.
