How was the timing chain?

You should have asked me yesterday when it was all apart!

I don't know what I am doing!

Sorry brother.... the foozeball had my attention yesterday and having Andrea learn how to use a manual when getting the bronco up on a rock.

What do you do when you want to paint a truck but have no area clean enough to use as a paint boot? You buy a 20 X 24 foot green house, of course. Has a white cover that lets in light, all I need to is cover the ends too and filter air in high on the shop end and out low on the opposite end. Plenty of room for the truck plus racks with doors, fenders etc.

It has convinced me to go as big as I can when I add on to the shop, to fit a paint booth arrangement. When that happens this greenhouse will be used to store extra hay, extra Land Cruisers. something.

Been meaning to do this with mine. Where did u order it from?

Huracan storage box, got it in the group buy. There’s a thread on the first page about it. I think the link to the store is in the thread.

Got the weep holes on the moon roof cleaned out on the '97. Cleaned all around the gasket. Lightly lubed it with Vasoline . . . She opens and closes nicely now - on demand.

That didn't come out real well, sorry.

Bled the rear brakes, topped off the batteries, put the e-brake cable in the newly welded pass through and pulled her out of the garage! Moonshine is back in business! Too bad LR got canceled :(

Bit of light wrenching for me, installing new seat belts, moving fire extinguisher mounts and reinstalling the rear seat before Flo came in. Special thanks to @Cirbo who did most of the heavy duty work to help pull the new cage together after I had to take two weeks leave on a family emergency. Kids are stoked to have 3 point harnesses, wife is stoked to have a working seatbelt on her side of the car and I really like the look. For now it's rattle can Krylon Fusion Matte Black, but will powder coat at some point.

Flo inspired me to throw together this bug out power box with stuff I had in the shop: 12 volt battery, 50 amp relay, fuse block, interior light, 3 cig lighter plugs, 2 USB plugs, digital voltmeter, all with master cut off switch. Extra space holds portable inverter, 12v/6v charger, extension cord, scanner, & old CB radio.

So does this count as wrenching? I was actually planning on working in the shop today, but instead spent the entire day on this. 620 pieces of 3D Camelot. The kids wanted to do a puzzle, they gave up after 20 min. For some reason I became addicted and refused to quit until it was done. I think I’m good on puzzles for a really long time.

Again marking progress.

I basically got nothing accomplished this weekend...I think I'm going to regret that 3 weeks from now!

Hey at least I am honest, right!

Starting to look like something. The two framed out squares on either side are for 4 box fans with filters sucking air out. I'll be framing in a 20" section across the top of the shop door, it will be 10' of filtered air coming in. Amazing amount of light inside. Check out the shadow on the left side. The light comes in from the right with zero shadow line inside and the light hits the inside wall and bounces back. It does not go through the far wall as evidenced by the shadow. The floor will also be plastic.
