I have got to long lengths to justify a new bumper.

Step one to fixing my mistakes.

Hate that happened on Saturday. We're always willing to stop and spot you. But the wife authorizing a new bumper on the spot is super cool 😎

Now, which are you going to buy?
I don't know. So many options.

I think these bumps will beat out fine.

Did that happen at Iron Gap? What happened?
It was estillfork I think. It was simply coming down some rocks at the end of the day I thought: "hmm this doesn't seem like a very good line maybe I should stop and come down another way.... nahh it'll be fine" Then I got my nose into some dirt and I just locked it up and pushed through. Next time I'll listen to that voice and readjust.

All back together now. Just don't look so closely at it. I just need to wet sand and clean up some over spray / blend in the previous paint job.

I also epoxied with fiberglass all the cracks and broken ears of the headlights assemblies. I don't think there was a foot without a crack.

This week spent the time doing all the maintenance work on the 2uz engine...

Starting from here... you can see hints of the rust bucket...

Do you need the white and yellow lines to align? I see the T matching the white now.

Came across this gem. Who's got an 80 needing a cut-n-turn? looks neato.

That's cool! I hadn't heard anyone doing it on an 80..

Never thought about doing the cut. I always thought about just moving the brackets.

Spent the drive to Texas and back chasing a P0171 in the LX. That is one VERY vague code. Best of luck to you if you ever get it. The silver bullet proved to be capping off loose hoses on the power steering vacuum valve. Gotta love a cheap fix.

This has been my Saturday mood.

Here’s my wrenching. What started as what I thought was buying a clean 60 has turned into a frame off. Rory hooked me up with a clean body he was done with.

Plan is to use the blue frame, tan drive line, blue body with the tan front clip. I’ll address anything that comes up alone the way.

Anyone that want a late night wrenching session come on over.
