Blatently stolen images off my mate @Twisty, a local 40 series legend
It's a 1950s/60s Toyota 2FQ15 which is a 3/4 tonne 4x4 light truck. From what I can find is one of about 13 that made it to Australia.
It was a mates Dads truck years ago but he sold it before I ever got a chance to find out more. Over the christmas break my mate brang his dad over to check out the 45V wagon so I asked what happened to the FQ15. Turns out he knew where it still was and said if I was interested in buying it he could try and sort a deal.
They were originally military vehicles designed to be used as part of the alliance with the USA after WW2 and are based on a Dodge M37 Weapons Carrier (but stronger!).
It is missing the original F engine (similar to what the early land cruisers used), gearbox, and 20" rims that ran a 10.5R20 (37" dia) tyre but still has the divorced transfer case.
