Soa Complete

Well Jason @ JK Customs got the SOA and the cut and turn finished and it looks great! Here are a couple pic's of how it sits on the 31's. :D

Also Dan @ RuffStuff gets big prop's on his SOA kit and his great customer service!

And the answer to your question Alex is around 2500.00 give or take a few after you buy the HYSTEER and axles etc.

Nice.......I'll go that route some day....SOA that is !! :flipoff2::flipoff2:

Snow, you are pretty much my hero for building my dream criuiser. :flipoff2: I have the 6.0 in my 03' silverado SS and it's smooth and powerful. thinking of having that engine in my cruiser sends shivers down my spine

Nice Randy!. I am starting to think I may have to go with 37's. Guess we will see how much it settles.

effjay60- I can't take the props for building Snow Cruiser, that goes to Randy and Jason at JK Customs. I am just the funding on this project. I decided to have a FJ 60 built instead of buying a new truck. I am looking forward to driving Snow Cruiser with the Vortec!.

Manuchao- Thanks for the words. Let me know how your meeting goes over with the Smog Ref please.

OK Guys starting to get my head pulled out of my full point of contact. I will get progress pics up. Work has been horrible with the strike at Boeing and Nash. So I will have you some drool shots Mon or Tues.

Some tear down shots

Yep I have been working on it. Just thought I better get some pics up so everyone knows I am still at it. :D

What springs are you using? If they are stock I'd throw in an AAL to help out.

With this build, it appears all you are missing is a set of 37's. Oh, by the way, I've got a set for sale and will even deliver to your door. Ok, shameless plug is over.

Using the stock springs. The rears look like they may need help but we will see. As for the shameless plug :D Drop snowcruiser a line.

More pulling....

Couple more of the pull and the meaty azz mounts that were fab for it! Hope this gets the warm fuzzy back into ya Mark!!!! Tell the guys at the station they can all start watching now...BTW you know this is the second Fireman's truck I have built, must be a cowinkydink. :D

Snow cruisers mirrors

I apoligize in advance for what i'm going to bring up, but here goes. Is it just me or are those GM truck mirrors on the cruiser??. If there not...........sorry. If they are........they look pretty good. I've been wanting to replace the stock mirrors on my 86, but can't bring myself to spend hundreds of $$$$ for whats available.

Again, just curious.

ps If i'm wrong, i blame it on poor night vision

Bill

Those are Chevy truck mirrors. Snow had asked me to take them off the first chance I had so they wouldn't be seen. Not really a nice choice. Get a set of 62 mirrors. They won't set you back much and look a whole lot better.

Thanks MOT,

Guess you know why I don't lip off to often. Still need to get with you on that ladder if my fabricator doesn't come up with one I like.

Snowcruiser was happy with the 5.7 but it was tired. So when he choose the 6.0 he liked the options for upgrade he could do to the engine down the road.

Randy- Looking good! The warm fuzzy is back!. From the pictures she looks fairly minimal on the rust. Looking forwatd to watching the pictures coming in!:bounce::bounce2:

DBS311- Thanks for the offer on the 37's and the AAL's. I am going to run 35's for now and the springs will be a work in progress as it gets built.

BillNoy- The mirrors look a lot better in the pictures than they really do in person. I agree with Randy, go with Toyota mirrors. I am embarrassed about those being on Snow Cruiser.:o

4x4Rugger- Diesel's are great, but I am a sucker for a healthy sounding V8!
