Am I the only one wondering about that 6.6 Duramax from earlier?

Not at all I am droooooling all over that thing . . . I would LOVE to have it in my 88 62 . . . . oh man . . . . .:crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

Happy New Year!!

Here is the engine bay and the frame prep finished. I also have the steering gear box out being ported for the Rock Ram. I am running the fuel lines and cleaning up the rear of the frame now. Finish off the little touch up on the firewall. Also relooming the old harness.
Possibly be ready to set the engine this week...:popcorn:

Yep I have been working on it. Just thought I better get some pics up so everyone knows I am still at it. :D

Randy,

I guess that's a 5.7 Throttle body....do you know what those manifolds fit....what type of car thay came off of? Maybe a caprice?

Reference the V-8 that you guys pulled out. (exhaust manifolds)

This has got to be done by now. What else could you have been doing all summer, eh iaintscared? :lol:

.....

I just thought I'd post up that after seeing the gm mirrors on this rig I went out and pulled the mirrors of a chevy that was laying around the shop and put them on my 60. The curvature of the door panels matched and is a helluva lot cheaper than Aussie mirrors and gets the job done. I like them. Much bigger than the tiny stockers. Just my .02

Quick Update

Yes Snow Cruiser is still coming along. Randy is figuring out the emission crap since I live in California. It has been quite a process trying to get this thing able to pass the Smog Ref check to get the BAR Label. Hopefully things will come together and I will be making a trip out to Texas!.
