Check with TransStar. Last time I was there they had a shift kit for the a343 it was 75 bucks if I remember correctly. 5206221220 is their number if I remember correctly

To complicate things further the A442F in my truck is fully hydraulic (behind a 1HD-T). My power goals are fairly mild so I should be fine with the upgraded valvebody, but if a fully built trans could be had for $2500 I would be all over it.

You need to get an outside video of this thing launching from a dig btw. That's something I'd like to see.

I don't know if you mentioned somewhere, what kind of fuel mileage are you seeing under normal driving? If that's possible with that much power.

If you drove it just like how you drive a naturally aspirated truck you would get very similar mileage. I did my test loop, 155 miles, the before mileage was 16mpg and after was 14.8mpg. But the way I drive it around town now, I am closer to 9mpg. The way the fueling works is that you set target AFR's based off of manifold pressure. So up to 0psi of manifold pressure the AFR's between a boosted truck and a naturally aspirated truck aren't too much different but once you are above 0psi manifold pressure the AFR's drop significantly to support the boost. Going as low as 11.5:1 So if you drive in boost a lot you will see lower mileage like I do but if you drive like I said mostly in vacuum it will be very close to normal.

On the dyno clip, at the 0:14 end, the truck jerks and I hear a change in the throttle (like a "cough"). Is this a rev limiter or is it where they unloaded the dyno?

I am thoroughly impressed with what you've done here. I like the idea of a turbo and how it is well-suited for this application, possibly better than a SC in my opinion.

I am sure it was just where they unloaded the dyno. The truck drives smooth with no hiccups or coughs. I think it is very well suited to the platform, and I am sure if I could get some other people behind the wheel they would love it too. Lol

Get me a flight and I'll try it :flipoff2:

Since I was talking s*** I was going to get a quick 0-60mph video since the trans was done and the the truck is 100% but it didn't work so well, guess the guy never expected the old LC to cover the distance so fast. haha.

I have some good friends in San Antonio that own a fabrication shop and we are hoping to go see them some time. If so, I will PM you and see if we could stop by.
