Tune Up - What order?

Do you have an Iphone 7? If so it has a magnifying glass if you press the home button 3 times fast. Take plugs out. Take valve cover off and rotate motor till you can see the exhaust valve pressed all the way down. Zoom in and take a pic. Or buy a boreascope from amazon for your phone and look at what is going on.

Stumble off acceleration with the accelerator pump working and low vacuum could mean a vacuum leak. Burned valves. Cap off brake booster and any other vac sources just to make sure.
 
I responded in another thread and commented that it appears to be acting like the carb is having trouble coming off the idle circuit. I was thinking accelerator pump troubles.
 
Thanks @Trollhole - the carb was just rebuilt by Mark so I'm confident it's good - Is that vacuum (18) low for idling at 650?

I'm going to tap out on further diagnosis as I've spent days and am not making headway - there's a guy in Charlotte (H&H Motors) who seems to do a fair amount of work on 2F's and I'm going to "Pay the man" (Andy Griffith show reference for those old enough) as I've reached my level of incompetence!
