Does anyone in the North Texas or Southern Oklahoma area know a shop I can call to get mud tires "trued"?
Tread removal for the purpose of evening out the hi/lo spots.
Seems this is antiquated and not common or easy to find these days.
My 33's are not too bad but are starting to growl and I was hoping "a little off the top" might help.
I can hand deliver the 4 loose wheels (now clean) in person or drive my rig to the shop.
On-car balance or strobe balance is not what I am after.
Thanks!

Not much help, but I think i see it called “shaving”. If that helps searching online.

Going way back to when retreads were popular. We used get some out of round tires at the shop I worked at.
We shaved the tire tread to get a better ride.
It works but takes a crazy amount of rubber off sometimes.
