I have an ‘06 LX470 with factory center diff lock. I also installed rear and front/rear air lockers from ARB. Does anyone have a lot of experience with locking the CDL, front and rear all at the same time? What situations to use? Not to use? Successes/failures? I would guess it would be good if bogged in deep mud, snow, or sand driving straight. If you have any experiences I would love to hear. Thx.

Triple Locked 100? That's awesome. I have seen these be helpful for bumpy steep climbs where sometimes a tire will be off the ground.

How much did adding the f/r set you back?

I turn on my rear E-locker anytime I'm climbing something steep or off-camber. Better to turn it on and not need it than to need it and have it off.

The front locker will make sharp turns tough so I'd disable that in any turn unless you really need it. If you're headed straight up an obstacle, turn those lockers on!

This is what I do too. By locking my center, rear, and front I can usually easily walk right up and over obstacles that other guys with just atrac are struggling with. Most of the time just locking the rear is all that’s necessary but I lock my front when I can just to use it.
I figure as much as they cost I’m gonna use them every chance I get.
Great uses:

For sure. You're probably actually less likely to damage things with the lockers turned on. Less likely to have violent shock to the driveline.

Let the terrain guide you basically. I use rear uphill as most of the weight bias is there anyway. I add front on ledges where there is double climbing or the rear is on loose stuff or muddy. This is my go to on climbing outta of a mud hole. The wash out or gully may need one or both depending on the slopes and if it’s also up hill. All out mud is usually fully locked since there’s no traction and locker chatter from steering input is a non issue. If I’m repositioning with traction I would usually unlock the front even if I’ll need it to progress (air locker up front = easy fast engagement) The rear take a bit of cycles to engage and disengage.

I avoid bouncing and spinning tires as the loads increase and can break stuff, lock up and save time and breakage.

I do have a concern about either diff binding up (or even the transfer case) in more extreme situations since everything is driving all at once, or do I just worry too much? 🤔

Psh. Abuse those lockers like they want to be abused. ;)

They are literally designed for off road abuse. Go tear it up!

Let me borrow your wallet for a day 😂

I saw a great video showing a 100 stuck trying to climb over a couple slippery logs, each ~10” tall. Added the front locker and he climbed right over. Can’t find the video though, of course...

Seeing as front travel is the 100s weak point, a front locker in rocks and loose stuff would be extremely useful.

Watch 4wdaction on youtube to see when to use lockers

CDL and rear is probably the best to start with; As others mentioned, navigating tight turns with the front locked can be difficult. However front lockers are extremely useful when you are articulating through technical terrain, and losing grip on one of the tires, or when you are in very loose ground such as sand or deep snow.

So this one time, at Hundreds in the Hills, I got stuck on a shelf road... front locker was the difference between backing out of it or still being up there for a while. Maybe shouldn't have tried to go through that drift in hindsight but hey, we were having fun.

What I love best about lockers vs. ATRAC is they engage before you slip anything. So from a tread lightly standpoint there's no question, no peeling out before traction kicks in. It also allows you to take things a little slower, which can be good sometimes.

Yeah not cheap. Almost $2500. I still have Atrac but when I’ve had to lock up there’s nothing like it.

installed?
