I hope to still wheel with you guys, but I had to make a change today. Took the winch off the FJ and traded her in.

I can see getting rid of an FJ. But buying a jeep?! C'mon!!!

:)

I was having a few issues with the FJ, which I'm sure were related to me beating the living crap out of if for the past year. I can tell you that thing held it's value more than any other vehicle I've ever owned. Paid $32,500 for it a year ago, traded it in for $32,000.

My guess is that if you beat the crap out of your Rubicon like you say you did with the FJC you will be back here next year telling us about your FZJ80 series purchase.

But I have to say that I do like the 4 door Rubicons... They look good and they are capable out of the box as dirt road/camping/fire road rigs for sure. I might even (dare I say) buy one before I'd buy an FJC. I wish Toyota would just sell the 70 series in the states to compete with the Rubicons, Cherokees and Wranglers.

Well I hope I get the chance to beat the crap out of it with you guys. If there's a no Jeep policy on club runs, I get that too. Made a few friends in the club and those friendships will continue!
