Great video Nick...nice job capturing so many great shots from the trip!

The snow is already here. A lot of the passes are closed. Black Bear and Imogene have snow as does everything above tree line. The aspens are in full color south of Red Mountain Pass but are just starting on the north side. Temp in Silverton this afternoon was 53 at 4:30, an hour later in Ouray it was 64. The two sides of the pass are totally different.
I don't know how much snow it takes, but it seems pretty early in the year for passes to be closed! Man it would be great to live somewhere that has actual seasons!

That area got over 3 feet of fresh pow in late September..... That's about 3 feet more than it takes to close Black Bear. ;)

That is so awesome!

Mtn, nice photos! Where were 1374-1376 taken? The "Hundy on a ledge" photos

Also, did you guys stay in the same campsite each night, or move around a bit?

Thanks. Those photos were taken on a ledge on Imogene Pass. We stayed in the same campsite this year near Ironton, just south of Ouray.

FYI, better late than never so I made time to get my pics of others uploaded to the shared drive. Much thanks to everyone else that did the same!

It's going to be a heck of a drive if you're coming all the way from Saudi Arabia! I applaud your dedication!

The Atlantic gets a bit boring, and I have to take extra Jerry cans, but as long as I avoid the Bermuda Triangle it's not too bad :)

(Actually my 100 is garaged at my house in Little Rock, so I'd be driving from there... Just hoping I can align the vacations right in 2014. I miss the Rockies and my 100!)

So, what are the dates for the 4th one? I am kicking myself over missing it in 2013!! :)

Dates are 95% set for the 4th Annual. Not official yet, but expect something close to last years dates to ensure kids are out of school and summer is in full swing. Jon, Chris, Josh and I are in constant contact working out the details. Because of last years popularity there are many behind the scenes logistics to work through with 30+ vehicles. (Permits, other events, size limit, camping headquarters) Stay tuned. We are very close to finalizing everything.

I love to make the trip this coming year!

I waited 7 years to drive out west. Waiting for the perfect moment for my first true road trip. The 100 was flawless, and it truly was the perfect experience.

I'll be back...for the next event.

I'm scheming already for next year as well... Takes alot of planning and cash to get the fam on the road for that long but worth every penny!

I can't wait for that! Awesome trip it was and next one will be great!
