I don't know how much snow it takes, but it seems pretty early in the year for passes to be closed! Man it would be great to live somewhere that has actual seasons! The snow is already here. A lot of the passes are closed. Black Bear and Imogene have snow as does everything above tree line. The aspens are in full color south of Red Mountain Pass but are just starting on the north side. Temp in Silverton this afternoon was 53 at 4:30, an hour later in Ouray it was 64. The two sides of the pass are totally different.

That is so awesome! That area got over 3 feet of fresh pow in late September..... That's about 3 feet more than it takes to close Black Bear.![]()

So, what are the dates for the 4th one? I am kicking myself over missing it in 2013!!![]()
Dates are 95% set for the 4th Annual. Not official yet, but expect something close to last years dates to ensure kids are out of school and summer is in full swing. Jon, Chris, Josh and I are in constant contact working out the details. Because of last years popularity there are many behind the scenes logistics to work through with 30+ vehicles. (Permits, other events, size limit, camping headquarters) Stay tuned. We are very close to finalizing everything.
