We had all sorts of harumphing last time I dictated Macs Speed Shop.. so I'm gonna make some suggestions:

1.)
Revolution Burger
433-102 Spring Garden Street
Greensboro, NC 27401

On a Tuesday night - that parking lot across the street should be empty.

2.)
The Worx
106 Barnhardt St
Greensboro, North Carolina, NC 27406

This is right downtown - and the parking is likely going to cost a couple bucks. But because of that it will likely be possible to park together. I hear the pizza is good - and they're rated slightly higher than Revolution Burger - also, walkable - right nearby is Box Car Arcade. Which is a lot of fun

3.)
Macs Speed Shop
Battleground

You know the deal.

I'm down for absolute wherever. Sorry I'm of no help as to picking a location.

Actually I do have a suggestion, if not for this meeting maybe for a future one. How about The Claddaugh in High Point? Pretty cool little Irish pub owned by an actual Irish man LOL. The food is good and it has a cool atmosphere, parking lot is not huge but I think it would be big enough. Just a thought......

This is actually one of my favorite places to go. the fish and chips is amazing...well everything is pretty good actually. And when you say he's Irish it's the truth. Hell try talking to him at night once he's had a beer or two. lol. Dennis is a hoot.

Another place we did in HP once that was pretty fun was Blue rock...that pizza place.

What a coincidence. In between my post and yours I ran into Dennis out here playing golf. He informed me that he had recently sold the business but still owned the building and everything had basically remained the same. He said he thought the new owner would be glad to have us.

Ok - added the two new selections. Please vote accordingly and we'll let the winning vote be the location.

side note Claddaugh was a bit pricey I thought the last time we went. But food is always good.

I'm in for the meeting but really have no input for the location. I have no experience eating in The Greensboro area.

I got distracted in the for sale/wanted thread and was wondering if anyone going to the meeting on Tuesday was going to get one of those coolers before then? I know most of y'all probably don't head up that way but thought I'd throw it out there.

Did I miss mention of the time? Trying to make a family plan. Earlier the better.

We are confirmed for High Point, right?

Thanks.

positive. im positive that the negative situation im dealin with will prevent me from showing up.

Confirmed - 6:30 at

The Claddaugh
130 E Parris Ave, High Point, NC 27262

Claddagh Restaurant and Pub - High Point

It says live entertainment every Tuesday through Saturday, and lists the specials as such:
Tuesday
$1 Off All Irish Beers
½ price Rachel & Reuben Eggrolls 4-7 pm

It also has a band schedule that's dated February 21st, so those specials might not be still valid :)

At the risk of jinxing myself - the 60 is running really nicely the last couple of days so I'll be bringing the Plague...
