cost of SC, Kit, and ECU is $7100. The Unichip ECU comes pre tuned and is pretty much plug and play out of the box, especially since Unichip has worked directly with Magnuson. They ask you a few questions to get the right tune. I guess you tweak it a little but I don't see how that would cost 6K.supercharger kit which includes inter coolers and injectors, headers and cat back was 12k installed a few years ago. The custom tune ended up being another 6. Brakes which I would highly recommend 1k. I added up everything I've done to mine and it made me a little sick last night.
I talked with Sparks Toyota about this, which is why I went with UniChip, and they said all of the code throwing has been fixed. They confirmed that UniChip and Magnuson worked together to get it cleared. Sparks ordered the ECU on my behalf and when it arrived it specifically stated it was tuned for a 200series land cruiser.Fair warning. Unichip didn't have the program for LC. Which runs different software than Tundra. Mine was in and out of a shop for throwing codes for a long time. I'm told they have changed it and part of that is from mine. Also why my custom tune was so expensive. When you're the first one through the line you get your nose blooded sometimes. I'm fairly meticulous so any little blip drove me crazy.
