Is that a rifle mount on the dash? I so need one of those for my 40... :D:clap:

This machine is gorgeous sir. Thanks very much for the pics. its such an inspiration for my build.

getting prepared for our Iceland trip this year, wich we had to postpone to Oktober...so the prearrangements will be different to the usual summer trips...

the military chains originally adapted to 35" will fit the 37" just fine...all we need is spacers to have the clearance...

hope to find some new Iceland impressions beside storm, snow and rain...

Hey Sonke can you buy a new 4 doors diesel 70 series at the Toyota's dealerships in Germany? because I'm trying to import one here in to the US and is difficult to find a left hand drive diesel 70 any ware expert Egypt or the middle east and is definably farther.
Thanks.

yes you can ;)
but I think not at the Toyota Dealership, Toyota did´t make the efforts to pass the new exaust regulations, but "Extrem" managed.

HZJ 76

this one has no milage, I don´t know if it has been registerd befor the new regulations or if it´s the "Extrem" exaust-system. It´s sold by a Toyota Dealer

Hey,
just a few pics from the last four weeks. Winter arrived late this year in Iceland, so we haven´t had to use the chains and could enjoy the beautiful light...though I spare you all the pics of the colourful landscape and show you some of the car in this place...

Damn, i love this truck!
Thanks for sharing more photos Soenke, you sure have some beautiful country over there.

Soenke- What a wonderful vehicle you have produced. And what makes it so wonderful is that it has a purpose and get put to good use.

I have many questions. Too many! So just a couple for now. Are the storage areas in the front bumper water tight? And how is the top held on on the side without the latch?

Best!

Pete

thanks Pete,

the storage room in the bumper is rainproof, but not "underwaterproof". The water can drain through the bottom of the box. The top ist held by a pin one side and by a lock on the other. That fits very tight on a rubberstripping between the frame in the bumper and the removable top.

greetings Sönke
