I literally just bought a 99 today. Took it out light wheeling, heard a loud pop then could not get up a hill without being pulled. Under a load it would make popping sounds. On flat ground it would move at first. I jacked up the rear to turn the tires and see what would happen, they still turn opposite of each other, but I heard a lot of clunking up front. I lowered it back down, now when I put it in gear it makes a horrible grinding-type noise and will not move. I have had 3 80 series lc’s and never experienced this before. Any good direction would be greatly appreciated!!!
