That will solve most of your problems right there.I haven't really thought about heavier oil. it does seem louder now than it was before the tear down. I had to change the oil to install the twin stick kit. what weight do you recommend to make it quieter?
I might do dynamat under the hump. and I need to fit boots to the shifters.
Wonder if you could just apply the dynomat to the t-case. lol
that might cause some heating issues.No, really. Maybe it would quiet it down some if you sprayed it with bedliner.
texfj40 said:Just a thought, mentioned many times. Gear oil sometimes leaks from the t-case to trans. Overloads trans and empties t-case. Check it out. There are cheap hoses made to return oil from trans back to t-case. Good idea, that hose!
