i have a 86 pickup 5 speed 4x4 and I need to get the trans rebuilt, does anyone know a good trans rebuilder in the valley?

Valley?

Send it to Marlin or just buy a unit from them.:hmm:

Props to marlin. Had a synchro issue not long after install, took me a few months to return it due to work schedule. They paid shipping both ways, even sent me the prepaid shipping label. Great to deal with. Didn't even try to make excuses, said they likely got a bad batch of r150 synchros. The lead time was long some 7 weeks or so but had it less than 2 weeks when I sent it back.

My spare was rebuilt local and cost about the same.

My experience was different. Input seal failed almost immediately. Soaked my clutch. They offered to send me a new seal. I was out over $1000.

How long ago was this? My experience was just a few months ago.
