yes...if that d-ring is rated for a good weight load. here is what mine looks like...I used axle straps around the rear axle, until my friend welded up some attachment points on the rear axle that I can attach straps to directly... This is just how my trailer came setup....don't know if its better to have the d-rings at the far left and right positions or not....I've just run what I had. As you see I have a good bit of room on the rear of the trailer from where the truck is placed on the deck, since its setup this way I've just run with it. I've never had issues with the truck moving around much with my current setup. I do keep the straps tight. In summary this has worked well for me.

Thanks... that looks pretty good. I'm surprised my trailer came without rear D rings - I guess I should have specified that...
