Toyota will not allow on-road driving of the modified vehicles by anyone other than employees. Hence the road truck they are bringing on Friday. Sorry bout that Jackson:frown:

However, the FJ team could probably be easily convinced to do more wheeling on Sunday which I know works into your schedule a little better.

I don't have to drive on-road on Friday night.

BMAN, show up early on Friday so that you don't have to wait 30 mins for a test drive, like the last FJ80 we test drove :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2:

I'll be there in my HJ2 or whatever the $#@. I was thinking of paying some dues but it sounds like I'd be better off hanging with soccer moms.:princess:

Don't let RHINO get under your skin, he is our "pot stirring" specialist, just give him a couple of these :flipoff2: :flipoff2: and move on!:D

BTW, do you know of any good soccer mom groups we can hang with?:D :whoops:

I will be there on Friday with the new FJ...I don't know what truck I will bring on Sat if I can get out....the LX will be more fun since I don't have sliders or a lift yet on the FJ. But I do have new tires.

Dude, I never ebven drove that truck. The rattles and clanks it made on starty up scared me enough to not want anything to do with it.

LOL good one man,,, yeah flycast dont let me get under your skin, and if yer skins that thin maybe soccer moms are more your crowd:flipoff2:

i was just saying that alot of cruiser guys gave alot of crap to H2 owners over the years, but, now that toyota has basically the same things its all of a sudden different. BTW i never got into the bashing of any brand, wheel what ya like.

Not to stir the pot, but I think you are using 'basically' too broadly. :flipoff2:

Ross

ps I have noticed the same thing.

It would be good to have some idea how many will be there, so post up if you plan to attend![/quote]

The "post if your attending" thing is for the trail part, sorry if I wasn't clear. IIRC you slackers are partying that day?:princess:

Ahhh, I thought maybe Juan was getting an idea how many rigs are gonna crowd the QuickTrip parking lot that night.

I'm in.

I plan on being at both (QT & Trail run). Hopefully there will be some scratchy brush on this trail because I'm not sure I have enough in the new FJ yet.

all ya gots to do is cut some branches and stick'em in the rig,,, that should get some pinstripes in there:flipoff2:

Is this another "you need lockers or they will make you drive on graded dirt road" trip?

I'm lifted, runningboard and mudflap-less, larger tire'd, but not locked yet. : /

"they"? I probably don't want to know...

-Spike

I'm remembering the FJC Trail Teams people where the huge group that showed up was divided into 2 groups.

People worried about scratching their new FJCs were sent on a graded road tour, and myself and another near stock 100 were instructed to go on the less challenging route.

I'm just wondering how this compares to that trip
