Finishing up the 80 front bumper. I started on this last year for CruiserFest, but it never was completed. Now that I'm a ComeUp winch dealer I had to open the design up to receive a ComeUp 12.5, I imagine there are winches up to 16.5# that will fit in this bumper. I will offer this in a non-flare version as well.

Still a few things to finish up; recovery points and wing reinforcement backing.

Construction:

Center section all 1/4"
Frame plates 3/8"
Recovery points 1/2" ( tied into frame mounts)
Remaining shell 3/16"

Grill and Headlight protection 2" & 1-5/8" DOM

Shooting for 110-120# weight range

Grade 8.8 hardware will be included.

The rear bumper will have a 100% removable swingarm system. Yes, no spindles sticking out like a sore thumb with my new design..

A few pictures of the tacked up prototype.

Thanks all,

Jason

Any idea what the shipping on the bumpers is going to run? I love the front bumper but will probably be buying a rear bumper first as part of the planned upgrades. I guess if I can run into a deer sometime that would force my hand. Looking great!

That low pro rack is sweet but.......... is there an option for wire mesh across the bars ? I'm just thinking since I'd be sending my 7 year old up there to retrieve stuff, I don't want her putting dents in my roof ! You can PM me if you prefer. That looks like some really nice fab work on those pieces btw.

I can get a 2" x 2" wire grid or flattened expanded metal. I can get a price for the material tomorrow and let you know if you wish.

A few questions have rolled in on the 80 rear structure.

Main base shell 1/4" (.250")
Quarter wings will be 10ga (.141")
Frame brackets 1/4" (.250")
Recovery point 1/2" (.500") welded to the frame bracket with a 1-3/8" DOM shackle sleeve
Quart wing to frame legs 1/4" (.250")
All internal braces and stiffners 1/4" (.250")

Swing arms are 3"x 2" x 3/16" (.188")
1.5" CR spindle shaft
DOM hubs with oil impregnated brz bushings (extended length bushings)

Thanks all,

Jason
