Ok guys you've been asking and I have FINALLY worked/re-designed these in to the R&D and production.

Specific height laser cut gutter mounts and custom rack mounts and roof racks... I will sell these as pieces or full turnkey products. Just PM me with your inquiry.

This is this first of a few 80 production parts. I will build the racks to your specs or a standard old rack if that is what you want. 1/2 .. 3/4.. full length.. Sunroof versions as well.

Thank you for all your help on the measurements. @Townsend @NLXTACY @LFD2037 @Finnyfam60 @JasHook and many others

I should have the rear and front bumper re-designs out shortly.

I don't put prices in Tech Threads, please see the following for pricing.

Thanks again guys for supporting a MUD vendor..

Very nice. Do you have pics of your gutter mounts?

Oh duh. Didn't catch that I was staring RIGHT AT THEM!

No worries, here is what the final will look like. I'm waiting on the clamp angles from the laser cutter now. On a 62... Sorry. I've sold a 10-12 sets (plasma cut) to the 80 owners.

Sweet!!!

Those clamps are beefy! When you get some spare time, PM me a price on 3 sets (6 clamps total) for an 80 please.

These look awesome! I'm interested in 6 clamps for an 80. Please PM price and freight and wait time to 83467.

Questions: how high above the roof are they? (I want my rack as low as possible but still want my sunroof to tilt up). How thick is the lower part which clamps beneath the rain gutter -it looks very beefy. Will the doors open without rubbing on it? Do you feel comfortable putting me in touch with any 80 owners who can provide feedback on that last question. Thanks

Hi, I'm new to the game but I really want a good solid roof rack (not the factory one I have) how much do you charge for the mounts, and I'd like to get a full rack (if I can afford it). I have a 1997 series 80 with a sun roof. (see picture at left).
Thanks!

Nice, eventually I'll have to pick up some of those gutter mounts. Look forward to seeing your new bumper as well.

I really hope your re designed front bumper doesn't look better then the one I just ordered. I'll be so $%ssed. Oh well, I guess that's why they have the classifieds section ;)

The rear will be first up. Expo style in two versions. One for the mudflap and flare keepers and the second for the stripped version.

Thanks and I will post it up as soon as I'm happy with it.

Would you mind posting up the price per set for 80 series gutter mounts? I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be interested to know and plan for the future.

I don't post prices in Tech Threads, please follow the following link for rack and mount pricing:

Thanks again all,

Yes, these mounts are beefy, full 3/16" material. Here are a few pics of how the clearances are on the doors and sunroof tilted up.

The new angle clamps are a little thinner as they are CNC bent, where the one in this picture is a piece of angle iron I used on previous versions. The door frame does not touch anywhere. Weatherstripping passes by clamp without binding or catching.

Thanks guys,
