Trail Clean Up

I will be joining "The Damn Locals" Sat. Feb 26th for a trail clean up day into the cove. Probably be meeting in Tracey City TN. some time in the am. Everyone is welcome so if you have enjoyed this area before or would like to please come out and lend a hand. More info to come as i get it.

I'll join if I can ride with someone (for the day)...rather than having to trailer my junk up that way.

Assume the idea is to organize clean up crews..etc?

i'm in, my 60 is pretty good at picking up old nasty beer cans. i have a ton of 55gal plastic drums at work we can cut the tops off and make trash cans. i wonder if i can pull a small trailer with me thru the woods?

I was hopeing you would join in. I was very impresed with your trash picking abilities. (you ever worn an orange vest on the side of the hyway?) as for the trailer i was wondering the same but im not sure if it would be to much trouble.

There's a slight chance I may be able to make it to this. I may be headed to Atlanta for that weekend; if so, maybe I could just stop in Tracey City for the cleanup Saturday, then be in Atlanta that evening. I'll keep an eye on the thread and see what happens.

Yep its still on for this weekend. I will be leaveing jasper @7:30 am and meeting up with the "LOCALS" at Tracy City at 8 am. my add is 23 courthouse square jasper tn 37347. The tracy addy is 276 3rd street tracy city tn 37387. If you are comeing in from the north it would be easier to meet in T C.

Andy, This Saturday is the Forest Service planning meeting that I was planning on attending. Since it was the only meting that I can viably make, I will need to pass on the clean up. Thanks for posting the details.

No problem Larry , we should have plenty of man power here and we definatly as much of a presence at these meeting as we can get. I unfortunatly had to miss the one in dalton due to work. Please give us a report if you dont mind.

Sorry i dont have any more details. i Usually just meet up with the locals and get an idea of where people are going then pick a group to go with. in the past we meet up at the church around lunch time. they had a trash drop off there and at that point u could continue cleaning up or head out.
