i searched, and didn't come up with to many answers for the 40. got answers for some 60's that kind of helped but nothing to clarify it for me

1st- whats the difference from a traction and anti wrap bar? or are they the same just with 2 different names.

2nd- any body have a good design for one? i was looking at these: http://www.deckersonline.com/services51832.html

rig is SOA, and was gonna put these on now so i don't have to repaint the frame and axle twice.

They are referred to the same thing on this board . I wouldn't use the deckers one as it allows the spring to s before the axle perch (in extreme situations) . The kit from ruff stuff is the best bang and design for your buck . Two points on the axle are much better than one imop . Make sure you pay attention to where you mount the front end as it affects your squat - antisquat .

Ruffstuff doesn't have the bars, only the axle mount. You will have make the bars yourself, or pay someone else to do it.

her are some I have collected over time. No endorsement, only ideas.

i searched traction bar and anti wrap, i got some results but didn't find anything to be to much help. im gonna bring some photo's to a shop who is re-doing some of the welds on my rig and see what he can come up with. thanks for all the help to everyone who posted

looks like i am gonna have to build them myself, unless i can find some that are reasonably priced for sale. called 2 shops, one wanted 450, the other said 800-900. WAY OVERPRICED IMO for what it is. if i do this on my own, will a mig welder do the trick for all the welds including welding to the axle and the frame?

450 sounds about right

ill build you one for 900 though

how well can you weld?

im kinda a newb to welding, was taught last semester at school, the instructor was impressed with my welds, but my friend is a professional welder so i can have him do anything i want so he would be welding
