Afternoon gentlemen, im looking for a bit of help with my 2003 HZJ105. Its a POV pack DX model with the R151 Gearbox and part time transfer case. A little while ago now i started to hear a slight noise under my cruiser that sounded like a gear grinding, i later found that the transfer case was slowly hitting 4HIGH as i hit bumps in the road. Theres a fair amount of play in the transfer gear stick causing it to nearly slip straight into 4HIGH from 2HIGH with the slightest touch. ive pulled off the gear stick surrounds and i cant seem to figure out how to remove the slack in it? ive found a bush online to replace mine which i assume is completely flogged out but i cant even seem to find the bush on the car or the workshop manual. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
