I wish I would have looked here before ordering. Ordered May 18, 2025. Asked for a time frame on May 22, 2025. Was told he was on it. No time frame given. Have asked two other times on a time frame after reading everything here and no response. Shows he read it. Will be contacting my credit card tomorrow. Also sent an email.

since you seam to be un-aware little_joe , i am and have been addressing the shipping back-log topic and will continue to do so. I am making solid progress closing this gap and making sad-level statements like that will not deter me from helping my customers & getting fully caught up ..

Spot-on perspective on your part. But ... getting caught up is the key to enable sad-level statements from ever being made. Good luck and eager for the objective results.
 
Got half the order. Was promised a refund on the other half but nothing. That was 18 days ago.

Matt, if you are so overwhelmed with sales and so busy? Hire an employee to make things function like a real business?? Ran my own shop for 10 years as a one man show, I know the stress, but you have to not bite off more than you can chew? Reputaion and word of mouth is invaluable, the only reason you are still here, is you provide the landcruiser community with great hard to source parts! I hope you the best, and you can get back to not showing up in the bad sellers thtead!!

i hired a full time staff member Wednesday ( yesterday ) evening , he has a good basic general automotive skill-set knowledge ..

Life is busy so when I pop into mud it isn't always over to the classifieds.
Life is also chaotic right now, uncertainties and lots of unknowns.

One of the few things that I can always depend on, is that there will be a new "toyotamatt" thread in the bad sellers area.
 
After paying Matt the agreed upon $211.00 mid March for an engraved Data ID Plate and following up with him consistently within 24hrs w detailed answers accompanied by photos to any of his questions throughout the year, I finally got the message by May that I was not going to receive the part, a reply, or my money back. Similar to another post above I also received a cryptic text one day at 1am from him talking about matters that were unrelated to the Data Plate, which initially had me worried about the seller's health. Every couple of weeks I would ask for an update an on occasion receive a reply such as "will post draft here within 24 hrs" ect which kept me stung along until all communications ceased completely from Matt in May. Beware of this seller.

I’d contact the local authorities where he lives , at this point there is enough in these threads to obviously show what’s going on.
 
I wish I would have navigated over here sooner to discover all these issues. I ordered something on Mar 20th as well and the communications have ceased. It hasn't arrived despite multiple messages with Matt. I just disputed the charge with my CC company and received my money back.
 
I received a refund for the parts minus the shipping he promised to refund. Changed over $30 for a flat rate box. He told me I was going to receive the shipping refund but yet to see it. Anyone who has not received their products, contact your credit card and do a charge back. This seems as bad as Wits End at this point. Will never purchase again from him.
