Just got this from a big order that I put in at Fred Anderson (who I’ve ordered from many times… always excellent packaging)…

This is the second time that I’ve had valuable s*** stolen at our local warehouse.

Fred Anderson will sort it out, but dang I’m in a bad mood.

Edit: was $1,500+ msrp of parts for my wife’s 80.
That's so methed up!

I ordered a rad on july 2 with serra toyota decatur, received july 24.

Pretty decent packaging work, box in box, lot of bubble wrap. Their packaging is kind of dependent on the box staying upright, as not a lot of packaging on bottom. Feel i may have gotten lucky.

$301 shipped, 16400-50360

Interesting how the fins get moved around just by looking at it. Top and bottom pictures show how easily these move from just the unboxing.

Those are squiggles of aluminum foil, literally. Breathe on them and they bend. Cut a rectangle of cardboard to protect the engine-facing side during installation (but remove before attaching the shroud)

Received the parts that I ordered from Fred Anderson yesterday. Perfectly packaged and everything arrived safe and sound. Interestingly, the removed the signature requirement for the shipment. I suppose that requirement indicates a high value package/item(s). Anyway, Fred Anderson was great. UPS... not so much. I'm heading over to our local UPS hub in the next couple of days to speak with management. I've had two high value items packages stolen (the first a frigging fancy espresso machine and bussman from a Mud bud, and the second... all of those rear brake parts from Fred Anderson). If I've had two high value packages pilfered, I'd imagine that other customers have too. Frigging unacceptable for a company like UPS.

Still, stoked the Fred Anderson came through so well.

I am still waiting on parts from the 25% off sale in May. Normally, I am patient, but now I want to call and ask what is going on? My control arms I ordered in June shipped in 2 weeks. Very confused

Ourisman has the sale as well as Serra. Some differences in price based on location and tax.

email eric @ serra and magically your parts will ship in the next 48 hours.... I get they are swamped during these sales but 1 guy running the entire show is ridiculous for the volume they are doing.

No such luck, I emailed him at the beginning of last week and got a dry email saying that all orders would be shipped by the end of the week and that they were busy. My order still hasn't shipped. I have been without a/c for a month now. I should have placed my order with my local dealer and paid $100 more. Based on prior experience orders usually arrive for local pickup in 1-2 days, 3 days max. Live and Learn

Ouch for a GX substitution.
