these U.S. disc's are tuff to get here because the dealers here don't use this EPC anymore. they use a newer more advanced one linked to a central server ,(or something like that ) made by proquest . you can still get U.S. disc's tho somewhere ,maybe buy them here

http://www.alljapanesecars.com/cdstorem.php3?mk=Toyota

i might have to start searching around again

Well, the unpacked size on my .iso's matches both of yours to the exact byte.

=also i get an error when looking up the U.S. 87/08-90/01 FJ62

Yup! that is one of the missing .MST files. (GC791430.MST)
That one and the 84-89 pickup/4runner are the two why I thought I would mention this and try to figure it out, since those seem like they would be most popular for peeps here to be using.

yeah, I figured it was somrthing like the US versions would be hearder to find for some reason. i didnt think there was any discrepancy between what I downloaded and the .iso's would have.

Here's a list of the missing US .MST's (seem to be only missing from A2 disc):

GC141430 Tercel EL31 89-90
GC151420 Corolla AE92,95 88-92 (made in Jap)
GC153420 Corolla AE92 88-91 (Coupe)
GC155420 Corolla AE92 88-92 (Sedan, made at NUMMI)
GC211410 MR2 AW11 85-90.5
GC281440 Camry SV2#,VZV21 89-91 (made in Jap)
GC283440 Camry SV2#,VZV21 89-91 (NUMMI)
GC284440 Lexus ES250 VZV21 90-91
GC311460 Cressida MX8# 89-92
GC651430 Van YR2#,3# 89-90
GC671440 Truck/4Runner RN5#,6#,7#,VZN6#,LN5#,6# (4 & 6cyl, diesel) 84-89
GC791430 Land Cruiser FJ62 88-90

I figure the last two are the most important, but I know this copy of the EPC has been making rounds on alot of other Toyota model boards...

I checked the Eur, Jap and Gen files too.
Two missing from the Eur, Six missing from the Jap, and none from the Gen.
I didnt bother trying to identify any but the missing US files.

Also, there is a version floating around called "2004_EPC_2.zip" (1.75GB) that I downloaded. I went through that, and it matches your .iso's... :(

LOL

It started when I wanted to look up parts for an 86-88 PU, and when I clicked that line in the Model Search, I got a CD error.

Then I realized the Catalog number listed in the 2nd column is the name of the matching .MST.

Then, it was just a matter of printing out all 5 pages of the Model listings, and then going through matching the catalog numbers on the model search to the .MSTs in the U1 & U2 folders. :D (I guess I was bored...LOL)

I also counted all the models listed as being on the "A2" cd (last column on the model search page), and matched that to the total number of .MSTs in each folder....LOL (REALLY, REALLY bored!!)

It just sux that the PU and Land Cruiser are missing. Out of 110 vehicle models listed in the US data, it had to be two of the major files we need... :P

Each model listing also has a separate date shown in the second column from the right on the model search page.
I'm wondering if, the difference in dates between the A1 and A2 CD have anything to do with it?

Like the EPC may be looking for stuff up to 7/29/03, same as A1 disc, and these missing files which arent on the A2 disc (3/27/03), may have actually been on the an earlier A1 disc (maybe 3/27/03)? Then got switched over to the A2 disc for 7/29/03? I dont know...Make sense?

its late, and my brain is fried from messin with this for the last 3 hrs...LOL

i was looking at it for a quick second and you might be right the A2 disc looks old . funny thing is that when installed it says 3/27/03
but looking at all the dates of the other disc's the dates all match A1.A2 same. the U.S. dates don't match .maybe the disc 2 is fake or a messed with iso
will be looking into this tomorrow .

P.S.

i thought i was the only one that would play with this thing hours on end .:grinpimp:

Hy guys .. after some time I decide install my EPC and I have some issues with my old CD's I have some 2005 and others 2006 .. but the aplication sayd that aren't compatibles .?

Ideas .. ?

they are not compatible with what? ,where did you get the disc's from ? are you sure they are 2005 and 2006 disc's ,are they for the same region . .i'm running 2004 disc's(GEN) and 2007 disc's (USA) on the EPC.. i think you aslo have to install the same year disc's for the same region .can't mix and match JAP, A1/05 with JAP ,A2/06 etc. it needs to be a matching disc set .,i think . do you have the actual setup program ? and the actual disc's , i have been messing with this thing for awhile now and have not seen anything say it is not compatible .i have had tons of wierd issues tho .all been fixable .
