In the UK the 80 is rated as safe towing at 3500 kgs however I have heard that they are capable of towing 2 to 3 times that off the highway. Main limiting thing is the weight, don't want the trailer weight to be too much more than the vehicle weight if you are towing at any speed, if you just want to pull something slowly out of trouble or to move it 20000 lbs should be pretty easy.
