Once your dongle is plugged in and paired, go to "Realtime Information". Swipe over to a screen with no gauges on it, and touch the settings gear icon at the bottom. Click 'add display', pick the kind of meter you want (round, square, numbers or not, etc). Then scroll down to "Transmission Temp". There are two of these to pick from, listed as "Method 1" and "Method 2". One of them will be showing data, pick that one. Done! Can you point me to the menu(s) for trans temp in Torque app? Thanks @gatormark91.

I also got an flat extension cable for the OBD port. I plugged it in under the dash, and routed it up to my ashtray. I keep the plugged-in Bluetooth dongle in the ashtray when I use it (I obviously don't smoke!), that way there is no chance of me kicking it if it is sticking out in the footwell. The BT dongle will be a parasitic amount of power drawn from the OBD port, so don't leave it plugged in when you aren't using it, if the truck will be parked for a while.
