Ahh, it's that time of year again...to be bombarded by ridiculous perfume commercials. relentless. stupid. pathetic attempts at something, I'm not sure what...but apparently you have to spend an assload of money to not smell like ass while doing it.
and the "give the gift of 90,000 dollars worth of car debt to make your significant other happy" commercials. Nothing says i love you like 10k down, and 96 equal payments of $18.68 per 1k financed for the next decade.
I'm sure the jewelry store ads will be in full force too.
I mean, how is Rooms 2 go going to survive by only running 3 ads per station per hour?
On the bright side, some of the attorney ads will go away, except for the bancruptcy atty, that guy sure does seem to make a buttload of money helping broke people.

It appears that Ajit Pai will be announcing rules that slash Net Neutrality soon.
I'll have to delve into this. As "the guy" who priced and helped sell data for the internet at Sprint, I was looking forward to a "relaxation" of some of the net neutrality laws, but that has been a while. I guess I was "the problem" in that scenario LOL.
My dumb story on Ajit Pai:
I was at this thing called Kansas Boy's State, as a High School Senior, that was a thing for kids to learn about government, etc. You ran for elections, etc. You stayed at KU in college dorms where each floor had a couple of wings and each wing was a county.
Ajit Pai was elected as our Governor. I was a lowly District Court Judge. Our county (aka dorm floor) set up "traffic stops" basically to make money.
So one day Gov Pai and his body guards (State Patrol) came through and our Sheriff arrests all of them and "throws them jail" aka basically tries to push them into a room, for a bunch of traffic violations and then resisting arrest. Other deputies, and for some reason the District Court Judge, as well as other county officials, get into a pushing match with them - not a real one - one that you would expect out of nerds. We gave a rat's ass about the law, I guess. They give us like 50 cents and they moved on.
That is my Ajit Pai story and prolly a little tiny example of why governments do dumb things LOL.

Ajit is a dumbass who will get a coonhound ass candle for Krismas. Net neutrality is open roads, everyone can travel on them, use them, advertise, sell their burritos.... But with freedom of movement comes the risk of asswholes who will take advantage of freedom and try to screw it up for everyone. No neutrality is toll roads, better, faster roads with cleaner ramps and safer spaces for you to use, as long as you can pay, and the billboards controlled by the owner of the highway so you will miss a lot. Think neutrality is the USA, not neutrality is Communist Cuba.

Hunter fatally shoots woman he mistook for deer
Fuucking idiot waste of space. "No charges have been filed"...I hope that godddman changes. The desire to kill something in the woods is so important to people like this idiot fuuckjob that they're willing to shoot something that they cannot see, AFTER DARK, mind you. 'Duh, I thought I saw a deer but I couldn't tell, so I figured I'd just go ahead and shoot 'cause Bubba would rib me good if he found out I didn't try to kill it'. This shhit happens every year. They usually get away with it. I vote for an unappealable, mandatory punishment of being field dressed while alive from a tree in your front fuucking yard. I hope the widower is allowed to go slap the shiit out of the murderer any damn time he feels like it.
I know 'people' who hunt with attitudes like this. Some of them are otherwise decent folks, but they will kill everything in the woods that they see because they think it's their right to do so by the grace of their fuucking god having given our species the industrial revolution and opposable thumbs, and the gubmint can't tell them what to do. From what I've seen, they usually instill this same 'value' in their children. I hope each one of them ends up dead by the hand of some other idiot just like them. Or maybe by a person that they miss who is armed and returns fire. And who the fluck hunts so godddamn close to civilization? I will go out of my way for an unknown stranger in distress but these people better hope they never need my help. Modified natural selection is how I'll justify watching them suffer and beg for help.
FYI: I do not hunt. Probably because I knew nobody, while growing up, who hunted anything other than what the Commander In Chief told them to, so I was just never exposed to it while young. I've never had the desire to kill anything other than nuisance creatures that were causing problems. I have no issues with hunters who follow the rules and show respect for everything around them. I have talked hunters that I knew did it just for the kill into bringing me their kills that they would have otherwise left to rot. Some did. I was happy to dress the deer and have meat. Some did not because they couldn't be bothered to drag it out of the woods, except for the head/antlers - I wish I could have their licenses revoked.

No, I'm sure he used a rifle. This image is just something that the news outlet has been attaching to all stories involving a firearm. Handguns always seem to be a Glock or a Beretta. Long guns are always a generic AR. Idiot press. But that's for another rant.
