Can someone tell me the correct torque specs for the knuckle studs and hub studs? I am putting in new knuckle studs and hub studs as part of my disc brake conversion on the FJ40. The knuckle and hub is out of a 1985 Toyota 4x4. Please let me know if I have to worry about the torque, or is "as tight as I can" good enough. Also, do you guys recommend loctite on them? Thanks.

Red locktite on the knuckle studs to the knuckle, and the nuts to the studs...

79 foot pounds on the knuckle stud nuts. The studs get installed snug, and again, with red locktite into the CLEAN AND DRY threaded hole. (If there is grease/oil in there, the locktite will do nothing)

Good luck!
