Here she is, in the usual configuration for now. I have soooo many plans and hopefully I can get her to look like one of yours sooner than later.

You're light years ahead of me compared to when I first bought and started wheeling mine, just by having sliders already! I'll show you my rocker panels sometime, and you'll understand....

Hope to meet you soon!

Welcome to the sickness @1994pd

It seems to be a sickness. I've finished most of the baseline maintenance; phh, coolant flush and most hoses, front axle/birf service, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, washer motor, wheel bearings, new cats, and added my ham. Oil sample came back good for a 280000 mile engine. Hopefully I find it roadworthy over the next couple of months. This is not a dd, so I'm looking for ideas for mods that I hope to start after the holidays.

Hey fellow KS\MO cruiser folks.. Just thought I'd come here and introduce myself.. Just got a 93 FZJ80 with lockers that needs a lot of love. Has been sitting in the woods for a few years. Got a lot of work to do but looking forward to it as this will be my first father\son project. I have had other projects in the past but the boy was too little then. Anyhow here are some pics of the cruiser.. I have several disconnected hoses\electrical connections I am trying to figure out where they connect to.. Mice ate through the hoses and some wires so finding their proper connections is a bit tricky.. Anyone in Lawrence KS with a FZJ80 want to let me peek at their engine to verify where these connections go that would be awesome! And if any local folks have a set of plug wires they want to get rid of on the cheap maybe a used set sitting around in your parts box let me know.. The mice ate through every one of them. I am trying to not spend a bunch of money on it till I get it running.. But kinda need plug wires to make that happen. Thanks!

@ariff I can probably give you a hand with that sometime. Maybe after the big storm passes this weekend and everything settles down.

Hey that would be awesome.. I was not really planning on doing much to it over the freezing cold weekend either.. Are you in Lawrence? Thanks!

Don't think I've ever introduced myself on here, I'm Brian, been a member for awhile, read a bit, made a few mods and got busy with life and am not to tech savy so the internet is really the last thing i do and MUD got lost for quite awhile. I moved from wichita to Yates Center area a couple years ago and am looking to possibly become active with some local events if I can. Having two daughters and a son on the way and traveling the country for work can take its toll on activities away from the farm and family which is why I said possibly. Either way, looking to try and stay more active on the forum at least and possibly meeting some of you in the future at events.

Welcome Brian.

Just brought a FJ40 into Kansas City. If you guys ever get together on a weekend let me know. I know nothing about these and would like to learn more. It runs fine and in decent shape I just didn't want to drive it 4.5 hours home from Arkansas.

Welcome Brian and Mark. Nice 40! TAC has a get together monthly and some of us meet up for the Cars and Coffee on Saturdays. You can find more about it on Facebook.

TAC is on facebook?

Gonna have to have my kids teach me how to do this.

Thanks for the welcomes, doubt I'll make the meeting this saturday, gotta burn the farm. In the mean time I will try and get a couple pictures of the LX loaded onto the computer and post them.

Hi, I'm Kevin from Jefferson City, MO. I recently purchased a 95 locked Land Cruiser with 147k miles that is in a need of basic maintenance done (PHH, oil leaks, etc. I spent hours reading the forum knowing nothing about Land Cruisers and finally decided to join). Hopefully when my LC is road worthy I'd take it out to some of the events.

Kevin, welcome to the group. if you have a picture, post it up.
