Hi all! First post here in the forum, hoping I could get some advice. I'm pulling the 3fe out of my 91 LC and the last snag I hit is the bolt on top of the bell housing on the passenger side connecting it to the engine. Anyone have any hints on getting this bolt out?

Ajax1 method gets my vote. But you can add longer xmember bolts one at a Time to drop trans away from body floor as well.

This is driver side but same gig

I assume you haven't tried getting to it from the inside? It'll take removing the console, but if you don't have a universal drive extension (I broke down and bought one for my first transmission job and haven't looked back), it might be an option.

I have the center console and plastic around the shifters removed, what else needs to come off to access it from inside?
