If I was specially LC hunting I would. But really I just want a large reliable v8 suv for under $10k. There’s an ok 100 in York PA. Asked for a Carfax because they didn’t post one up.
This is going to sound odd in a LC forum...
Don't get an LC.

Well to put your response in perspective I’m coming out of an 04 Land Rover Discovery on which I did head gaskets and timing chainBecause if all you're looking for is a V8 SUV under $10k, any 100 you find, regardless of price (especially cheap, though), is going to require more of you to keep up to snuff than it's going to be worth. If you wanted it specifically to do LC things or just to have one, then sure, it would make sense.
These are old trucks. Things are going on them. Parts are expensive and if you're not doing your own labor, so is that. What labor you might do will be time consuming. You can buy a truck that's super clean, but it's still going to need a lot. Check the "100s are expensive" thread. It's not to say it's not worth it for most people here, but most people here are enthusiasts specifically for the LC or the type of stuff you can do with it. If you're wanting an appliance, these won't be it.
Oh, well if you're coming from a Disco then yeah, you're on the way up. Carry on.
Also sequoias use traditional brake master cylinder, that costs less than $90 for parts, whereas the 100 series use the electrical pump/solenoid/booster thing that costs a couple grand. Pads and rotors are standard too, not captive with the bearings, so labor is a whole lot easier. It's much cheaper to maintain a sequoia than 100, parts are also cheaper. Something to keep in mind, i wanted the 100 because of the way it looks, and its nameplate, if i didn't care for those, i'd rock a Sequoia all day long.
Had a new 2004 sequoia 4wd. I like my 125k 2003 tape deck havin rusty lc better. I liked my sequoia a lot though, might try to grab one as my ddThanks. I won’t give it any more thought. If he emails me back I’ll post it
there are some sequoias for sale near me. I assume if I like how the LC drives, I’ll like the sequoia?

That's a great find. Congrats mani know right? Since this one looked good, I didn’t take pictures. But when I go back to get a PPI (Toyota dealer next door to the place selling it) and hopefully buy it, I’ll take some pictures. I should close on the sale of my expedition and discovery over the weekend and barring anything bad, have this in my driveway next weekend
first owner serviced it at Lexus of queens. Second owner was PA. Then that guy moved to CT I guess
