pulled the front axle out of the 40 to rehab it and replace the oil pan gasket. Decided to weld on some tabs and bend up some steel brake line. I really like the poly-armour lines from advance auto.

Looks good. I've started using the copper-nickel alloys for brake lines. So much easier to work with and never rust.

I don’t like the copper stuff. Too soft and susceptible to abrasion from dirt coming off the road and vibration in close contact areas. The poly armour stuff is similar to what Toyota uses and I even shrink self adhesive tubing in the critical areas to further protect it. I’m replacing the copper stuff now.

New IFS calipers and fj60 rotors on my buddys runner this weekend. That chair hes sitting in is the original drivers seat from this truck with some casters on it. Its the best garage chair.

Ill be ordering my shortside shaft and new rvc this weekend for my truck. ite been down for over a month which is a long time for me.

Looking to do another Jericho trip on Colombus day, Oct 11 if anyone is interested.

yeah like a 8-10 week lead time... Slee Offroad has 80 series RCV's in stock.....but don't think they have mini / ol 4runner stuff

So the the used TG birf started clicking on hard down hill turns after two trips out, so I bought a RCV birf, Bought on friday, had it in the truck on wednesday ( I was super surprised how fast it came) . Two weeks later I broke the other side. About to order a short shaft and birf hoping to have if for next week. Iv always had good luck ordering right from RCV.

Running out of days now, but come wheeling Thursday after work with us. Usually 5 to 8ish in Northfield. Or doing a weekend day there on oct 30th.
