pulled the front axle out of the 40 to rehab it and replace the oil pan gasket. Decided to weld on some tabs and bend up some steel brake line. I really like the poly-armour lines from advance auto.

I don’t like the copper stuff. Too soft and susceptible to abrasion from dirt coming off the road and vibration in close contact areas. The poly armour stuff is similar to what Toyota uses and I even shrink self adhesive tubing in the critical areas to further protect it. I’m replacing the copper stuff now.Looks good. I've started using the copper-nickel alloys for brake lines. So much easier to work with and never rust.
Maybe we could do a battlegrounds run in October??

i’ve gotta repair / replace my gas tank, rebuild my steering box, change front Pinion Seal and replace front inner axles by FG… Will definitely plan on the 30th though! So the the used TG birf started clicking on hard down hill turns after two trips out, so I bought a RCV birf, Bought on friday, had it in the truck on wednesday ( I was super surprised how fast it came) . Two weeks later I broke the other side. About to order a short shaft and birf hoping to have if for next week. Iv always had good luck ordering right from RCV.
Running out of days now, but come wheeling Thursday after work with us. Usually 5 to 8ish in Northfield. Or doing a weekend day there on oct 30th.
