Every year we have to fill out a from for TLCA to show we are in good standing. This must include your name and TLCA number.

Hey guys and gals! I am from Goose Creek SC and just joined Upstate Cruisers via the web site. I have a quick question as I am new to the Land cuiser association. Do I also need a membership with TLCA? In any event, I look forward to meeting all of you and trying to get to a few of the rides this year! For those interested, my baby is a '78 FJ40 that drives nice, but needs some cosmetic work. I will get a picture on the forum tonight.

This is a hard one. UC is a part of TLCA in this respect. We are on the BOD, we have a chapter report in the magazine. We sometimes write articles for the magazine.

That being said you don't have to be a member of TLCA in order to be part of UC. But if you have ever read the magazine (Toyota Trails) you would understand why some of us are a part of it.

TLCA

I spoke with TLCA this afternoon. Jennifer informed me that her "mainframe" was down and would not be back up until Friday. I don't know what that means but I am sure that it can be fixed with a hammer. Anyway, I joined TLCA on Sat night and due to the mainframe being down, Jennifer told me that I would not have a TLCA number until next week. Once I receive my number, I will post it on this thread. I look forward to meeting all of you soon (assuming work sked allows me to make the trip to UC meetings!)

Sorry about TLCA having 'puter problems. We all do our best to please, around here.

All right....I gave in...I stuck a crowbar in that tight wallet I carry and sent them
a check today to re-up. ( I don't do paypal....grrrrr) I tried calling but got the machine
