4 Wheel Parts in Broomfield. A bit of a drive for me but they're worth it.Just out of curiosity, which shop installed your snorkel?
ok these pics are from going 5-10mph, and the wind and snow blowing from left to right...

this is seriously worst case scenario and when going faster it doesnt do it. if you look at my light bar you'll see 1/2" of snow on the lens. the wet heavy snow is no bueno for anything.Wow… You read my mind. Last night I was about to post a question about wet snow accumulation as it sweeps upward in line with the wind shield. That does not look good.

It has two vents, one facing forward and one on the inside facing left. the one facing left looks worse than it actually was, the top one was half clogged.
if you had an ARB it would have clogged much faster and has zero options of a second vent. Even if you reversed the head and the wind changed direction it would have clogged.
i seriously love this snorkel. the profile is perfect and i don't see it getting hung on any branches or carwashes...not that i can fit in any.. :/

Looks like the PN is 17751-38050 , but still it is not possible to use this, since lower part of air box has to be replaced. (from the first sight)Hi all, I know the OP got the issue worked out -- but for posterity...the lower airbox inlet of Aussie 200s are indeed round. If there's not an American version of the snorkel, the easiest thing to do is order the Aussie lower airbox part along with your snorkel. It's an inexpensive part and it will save you some silicone and a possible headache.
I don't know the Australian part number, but the American version is #5 in this drawing:
HTH
I'm on a way of installing TJM and searching possible problems before i start. Seems as this difference of adapter is main issue. Haven't yet looked physically airbox but already bought snorkel. The price of round adapter is near nothing but comparing both, 17751-38050 (4.7 engine version) and 17751-38040 (what we have on 5.7) i see that this is different from both sides. I theory this is not looks bolt in replacement for me. Please confirm as soon as you look at your box.Good sleuthing. This inlet on the same page is made to fit a round intake in the fender, it doesn’t have the scoop on the fender side
17752-51011
I’m going to go pull my airbox and see if the inlet side won’t conform to a circle - I bet it will.
Lower airbox is $377, that can’t be what is intended based on above message,
This looks as a part from diesel version, 4.517752-51011
But how do you think to connect this with Airbox ? Do you think that connection 17752-51011 -> air box will be easier to adopt than Snorkel tube -> original inlet adapter ? Did i catch your idea ?I’m doing the same thing. Have a tjm clone. The part I mentioned is on the same page as the other, I guess that additional tube in the fender could be inlet from a turbo. It has the same bolt pattern, just less plastic to trim off the fender side
