Tires and battery (1 Viewer)

Now that I have a 87 3/4 ton 4x4 suburban "The Turd" , the wife will be the primary driver. I will take the battery and the mud tries and put them on the Turd.
I was thinking of a Interstate battery, any good?
What are good wife tires? It will be hwy,city, snow and lots of ice
I want to get the best mpg. Should I stay with 285 tires, stock size, other???

For "hwy,city, snow and lots of ice" use, the OEM Mich LTX's would work well and provide a decent ride.
