Doesn't Woody run the KO2's on his 80?

Anybody have any experience with the Maxxis Creepy Crawlers? Particularly in the SE?

And speaking of the reunion, any tenative dates set yet? Its actually the one I look forward to most every year.

Creepy Crawlers are boss, but I wouldnt run them on the road. They will chunk out like nothing else I expect.

Woody does run the KO2s, but he is mostly out west these days, where they dominate.

I would like to try the new(ish) General Grabber Red.
Heard good things about them in the articles, i like the tread.

This tire is very quiet performed great in my 80. I loved these tires. Cleaned out very well at Tellico.
As far as the debacle yall are speaking of or Winchfest I think you can thank these big pigs for that. A lighter rig on a good mud terrain would have prob had different results. I found my 80 had to be beat on to get up the easiest of slick climbs sometimes.

Rick, they would look good on your truck with all the red.

I am thinking about pulling the trigger and ordering tires using that tire direct ebay deal matt referred to. Question is will 31x10.5 fit my stock wheels? Went out to check what size was on them already and they are friggin trailer tires lol. 7.00x15! Will have to confirm price to have them mounted locally before deciding however.

Looking at the gt radial adventuro at3. $104 each after discount code.

Yes they should fit but most big tire stores wont mount them. You will have to take it to a good ole boy tire shop. Reason being your putting a 10.5 wide tire on a 5.5" wide rim.

Gabe, check with M Mcpherson on LCLC, he has a set of 31's with wheels for 400 or best offer.
If I had something to run them on, I would buy them.
Nice a/t directional pattern, but not aggressive,
Lots of tread left, like 80 to 90 %, seriously.
he went to 33's

WANT!

I want those wheels in 17" I can add the clips

Wait I know that cruiser. That's Stuarts. Wait till you see what he is doing with it. It's red white and blue now. Going to look like one of the old toyota baja trucks. I just loaded him up with a ton of stickers for it.

I've got two nice lifted white 60's at the shop right now.

Yep thats mine, before my artistic plastidip skills and radical extended shackle lift. ;) Thx again for the stickers Marshall, but it will need a pair of Trollholes Cruisers stickers before its done. A couple of rainbow pig faces would be sweet. Im going for the look in my avatar, the Team Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series Paris-Dakar rally truck.

Sorry for the hijack.

Please don't flame me! I am going to probably get a new set of tires on the our Jeep Wrangler Unlimited but I see that most of the tires in the 285/70r17 range are all load range E. I have a used set of "E" 285 KOs on the jeep now that came off a 2500 ram and they are a little stiff and the ride is kinda rough. I know it's a Jeep and it's not going to have a great ride regardless but should I look for some "D" 34x10.5-17 KO2s? I do like the width of the 285s, though. The 34s are a lot more expensive. This Jeep is mostly gonna see highway daily driving miles so I want the longevity and ride of the BFGs and am not really worrying about off road performance right now. BFG is coming out with a rebate in Nov and I'm wondering if the "E" KO2s will be ok if I just leave them at about 32 psi... Are there any other tires that are worth mentioning for my purpose? Any input is greatly appreciated!!!

Why not just throw a set of 100000 mile Michelin highway tires on? Seems like you'd get everything you need and nothing you don't that way.

I just got a set of 5 KO2s, for now sitting on a pallet while I get the very last 1/16" out of my current set. That online site www.4WD.com had the best deal I could find (they're related to 4WParts stores, because one option for delivery was to pick up at the nearest store). I got all five shipped for under $1000, size 315/75R16 (34.6") and they arrived in less than 3 business days. I've run KM2s for the last two sets, but with my wheeling frequency I decided its time to go with an A/T tread, hoping to get a few thousand more miles out of a set. I've seen guys do some decent trails with the BFG A/Ts too, so I'm not worried about keeping up, even though I'm not running M/Ts.
