a guy at the tire store to run the bead machine and some valvestems and some air. 9.5's will fit on a stock rim just fine. As long as the rim size for the tire is 15".

*IF* the OP is interested in how they will fit/look on the truck, it might be worthwhile to look through the registry at the top of the 60s page (as well as the FAQs) to see how different size tires look with various suspension set-ups.

actually i was asking about the tire fitting the rig...sorry for not being clear
i was thiking a 2.5" OME lift from rocky-road outfitters, or should i use a 3"

That sounds like a good plan. I have the OME Dakar medium kit on my truck, and may put the same tires on it when I have the cashola. Lots of guys say you should go for the heavy kit, especially for a 62, but I haven't had any sagging problems. You can always add or remove leaves down the road to customize it anyway. I would support one of the mud-vendors with your purchase, unless you have a really good price or local pick -up with someone else. Kurt from Cruiser Outfitters in Sandy Utah ("cruiseroutfit" on mud) gets lots of business for good reason, and I believe "bull" here on mud also sell ARB stuff, but I am not completely sure on that. You could send either a PM, or visit Kurt's website.
