The Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure for the P285/70R17 SL 117T Falken A/T3W tires on your 2014 LX470 is 26psi F/R.

Is this correct given it’s a 100 series? If it’s a 200/LX 570 would it be correct? Trying to figure out recommended pressure for p285/70/17 (Yokohama Geolandar A/T, SL 117 load) and P265/70/17 Michelin LTX AT? I know 265 not recommended, but hypothetically? Thanks in advance-

Haha.. looks like you finally found a typo.. I’m sure he’s referring to a lx570. keep in mind, if you are following this doctrine, the LC would have a higher RCTIP than the LX most likely.

if you want an unsolicited opinion from a stranger on the internet… I would never run under 33 psi with any tire on a 200 at rated speeds.

Yes, the RCTIP for P285/70R17 tires on a LX570 is 26psi F/R.

For your LC200, the RCTIP for P285/70R17 tires is 27psi F/R.

The RCTIP for a hypothetical P265/70R17 tire on a LC200 would be 35psi F/R which is the maximum rated pressure for that tire. But I can find no such P=Rated Michelin LTX AT tire - further, the Load Index for a P265/70R17 tire, by specification, would be 113 which is lower than the stock tires (P285/60R18 Load Index 114) and not recommended.

As always, with any RCTIP (including the one that Toyota puts on the placard of your vehicle for use with stock tires) use your best discretion as to applicability to your use case.

Just checked the tire pressure and the tire shop (or the alignment shop) set the pressure at 55psi on all 4 corners? That seems high???

34 would probably be my recommendation for that oem size. Not much reason to go lower than that but you could run doorjamb 33 if you wanted but no lower. If handling gets sloppy and mpgs drop stick to 36.

Sure, but that tire has two variants - P285/70R17 and LT285/70R17. There is no ISO-Metric 285/70R17.

The RCTIP for those ISO-Metric 285/50R20 116H XL tires on your LX570 is 34psi F/R.

That pressure is good up to the GVWR/GAWR numbers on your TIP (Tire Information Placard), but if you experience any rear instability it would certainly do no harm to increase rear pressures by 2-3psi - let your use case and personal judgement be your guide.
