it's going to be snow wheeling season soon, so I thought I'd nudge you guys to pickup tire chains for your wheelers. Tirechains.com is a good source for all kinds of chains and chain parts.

Please pickup extra tensioning devices for your tire chains. I seem to tear up at least one bungee in a season. No, regular bungee cords will not work for this application as they're not very heavy duty.

Also, trim the extra leftover links on your chain - no, your tires will not grow! For quick trail repairs of tire chains, I suggest picking up a dozen "quick links" from any hardware store.

Ain't gonna be any snow this year. La Nina says so.

I'm thinking so. It was nearly 70 degrees here in Idaho Springs today, not a fleck of snow on the ground. I actually worked up a sweat walking to vote.

7500' and there's no snow on Halloween? Lame.
