As soon as I have use of a cherry picker I'm pulling my 2F, transfer, and tranny. Anyone wanna help? I will have plenty of beer and food. Note: there will be no high-grav beer as this led to much foolery at my HAMOM! :grinpimp:

I don't have a date set as I need a cherry picker first. I would like to do this in a month or so - the sooner the better.

i can help next week over spring break. With one person working, a powertrain can be pulled in a day no problem, so between the two of us, it won't take too long. As I mentioned on the other post, I have alan's hoist (still), which you can use as far as I'm concerned, but ultimately it is Alan's call. Only problem is that it won't fit the back of the MR2 and I am planning to pull the 1HZ next week as well, and may even start mocking it up on the new frame but we can definitely work something out.

Thanks Gehn. Alan offered me his hoist and JP is going to pick up an engine stand for me to use this weekend while he is home. I'll take a day off next week if that works for you. I had planned on waiting a bit to get some interest and time but I'll make the time.

I already have most of the engine bay 'stuff' disconnected minus throttle linkage to the carb, oil is drained and I'll drain the t-case and tranny before hand too.

This rocks! I'm back in the Cruiser spirit!

Its on next Wednesday. I'll probably take a half day off - swing by Gehn's after work to pick up the cherry picker - then to my casa. I can take a full day if needed - I wanna get this done. I'll prep as much as I can before Wednesday without goofing anything up.
