Time for a new bumper idea...

Awesome! I hate the ARB at Moab. It has jammed me up on ledges.

I want short bus tight on bottom but still have a deer catcher on top.

I'm really torn on this. I too love the approach on the Slee Short Bus. I'm lukewarm about the mini brushguards on the front though. Haven't really gotten my head around the full brush guard like on the ARB. I do like the clean look of the zfj80 grill and would hate to hide it behind a bunch of bars. I'll just have to wait to see some renderings.

I like my ARB for where I live (deers jump out in front of us, rocks are slower) - that said a little facelift of the Slee bumper hoop would suit me.

Frankly a rounded off version of the Ford bumper you posted would look cool too, and just modified version so the rounded 80 lines were complimented by rounded bumper lines (to a degree).

The 2 major reasons I run the ARB are the capacity to hold a Warn M12K, and the hoop.

Hate the hang, hate the recovery points, hate the sub- 3/16" plate.
BUT IT HOLDS A WARN M12k. Hoop is functional, not pretty tho.

The bumper is for a Tundra, but the guard area would keep a core, maybe the headlights too:

A telephone pole should do the trick.

So...since nobody has asked yet...can I borrow your coordinate CMM :D

Come to Oregon hit one deer, and tell me after you replace, a bunch of parts, because you didn't have a brush guard. Now if you hydro formed an aluminum cool one I'd be interested, oh and it has to clear my inter cooler
