This throttle linkage came with a ‘76 carb that I purchased. I was hoping that it would fit my ‘78 40 but I quickly found that it did not. I searched google images but could not find a match. Any idea what vehicle or year it is from?

Other than the fact that the end that goes in the firewall bracket isn’t supposed to be threaded like that, what is wrong exactly? Just not long enough? Removing the nits should take care of that. If the alignment of the brackets on the carb and firewall are off, that’s a different issue.

Looks a lot like the linkage on the '74 I'm working on.

Thx for the replies everyone. The mounting hardware did not line up with the hole pattern on the fire wall. I’ll have another look.

To be NOS or not to be , that is the Question ............
